Bhopal, Apr 27: The death toll in the Bhopal hospital collapse has gone up to three with 25 others injured.
The Madhya Pradesh government has announced Rs 2 lakh ex-gratia to the next of kin of those killed and Rs 50,000 to those seriously injured in the collapse.
So far three bodies have been recovered. Rescue operations are going on.
A portion of the two-storeyed Kasturba Hospital, run by BHEL, collapsed on Friday evening.
Eyewitnesses said, repairs and maintenance work was going on the ground floor, when the first floor, housing the female ward suddenly collapsed.
Among those dead are Arun Sisodia and Mohammed Jameel.
Most of those injured are patients, including children
