CST railway police jawan in Mumbai tests positive for COVID-19

A railway police official in Mumbai has tested positive for COVID-19. As per reports, 47 new coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Mumbai in the last 24 hours.

RPF jawan in Mumbai tests COVID-19 positive

A railway police official at Mumbai's CST railway station has tested positive for COVID-19. As per reports, he was admitted to Kasturba Rukmani Bai Hospital in Kalyan where his coronavirus test came positive. 

Between March 15 and March 27, 32 police personnel have reportedly come in contact with the infected official. All these people are being contacted and asked to remain in self-quarantine. 

As per official data by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Maharashtra has seen 216 confirmed cases of coronavirus including 9 deaths. Overall, there have been 1,397 cases of coronavirus in India including 35 deaths.
