Firozabad, UP: Nearly 40 people, mostly children, were admitted to the local district hospital last night, after a CFL bulb exploded during a religious event.
A large number of people were present inside the pandal during a Bhagavat Katha recitation, when the mishap took place.
Doctors at the district hospital were hopeful about those affected with eye infection recovering with a day or two.
