Srinagar: Two policemen were injured in a grenade attack by militants on a police station in Baramulla district tonight, police said.
Militants hurled a grenade at Tarzoo police station in Sopore area of the district, 55 km from here, at around 9 PM, they said.
Two special police officers—Mehrajuddin and Tarik Hussain—were injured in the grenade explosion, they said, adding both have been hospitalised.
No militant outfit immediately claimed responsibility for the attack.
