Topping tough tests seems to be a habit for Tina Dabi who had secured the first rank in UPSC's civil services examination in 2015. Continuing her fantastic streak, Tina Dabi has now won the prestigious President's Gold Medal during her two-year training program at the Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration, Mussoorie.
Elated by the honour, Dabi tweeted a photo of her with the gold medal." *RANK 1* Once Again.I have received President of India Gold Medal for coming First in my 2 years of Training. I am *First in Order of Merit* of 2016 Batch of IAS," Dabi proudly announced on the microblogging site.
Tina Dabi's marriage with her Kashmiri batch-mate Amir Athar Amirul Shafi Khan, who secured the second rank in the prestigious examination the same year, had created quite a furore with some of the right wing organisations raising questions over her decision to tie the knot with a person from another religion.
The two IAS officers reportedly came close during training in Mussoorie. The proximity between the two came to light when they posted a picture on social media a year ago.
The duo again posted their wedding pictures on social media which were circulated widely.
Khan hails from Devipora village in Mattan area of Anantnag, J&K, while Dabi is from Delhi.
