Indian grooms still play it safe with 'bandhgalas' as their first choice for the wedding attire. However, there are many new ways to style up the wedding look.

One can team up a 'safas' in unconventional ways to go with their attire. And as the model could be seen wearing, 'spiked jootis' have become quite a hit amid prospective grooms.

An embroidered or heavily embellished safa could be teamed up with plain bandhgala and churidaar salwar. Or one can also team up printed 'safas' with embroidered bandhgalas and matching jodhpuri pants.

As Indian weddings are more about 'show-shaah', even grooms find it hard to resist. With desire to look nothing less than a runway model, Indian grooms sometime go overboard with their styling.

Sticking to simplicity they can still show off their classy side by pairing up unique 3-piece 'kurta-pyjama'.

Similar to a tux, Indian men could go with plain kurtas and white pyjamas beneath 2-layered embroidered koti.

One can simple button-on the inner side of the koti and leave the outer side full open. To complete the look they can go for matching embellished jootis.

Indian men are getting more open to vibrant colours as their choice for the wedding day attire. Gone are the days when men avoided bright coloured sherwani's.

With pink, red, and even green emerging as the popular choice for wedding day attires, Indian men are on verge of experimenting with their looks.

Teaming up white plain pants with colourful sherwanis imbibed with heavy embroidery and jodhpuri footwear has become quite a demand in the Indian groom wardrobe market.

This wedding season one can give try to an all new unique style. Ankle length mughal-era inspired anarkali kurta teamed with wide legged salwars with rib-length jackets.

One can get these tailored up in 'cotton+ georgette' with embroidery or patch work highlight the neckline and pair them up with mix of 'cotton-satin' pant or ghera salwars.
