Netflix's first India-commissioned original series Sacred Games has already got everyone excited and, today the makers released the first look of the web series. Featuring Saif Ali Khan, Radhika Apte and Nawazuddin Siddiqui, the initial glimpse looks interesting all the way. Sacred Games is an upcoming thriller of the premium streaming service platform based on Vikram Chandra's best-selling novel. It is being produced in partnership with Phantom Films and be available to streaming giant's over 100 million members in over 190 countries.
Taking to their official Twitter page, Netflix released the first look of the web series. “The deadliest games are the ones we've been fooled into playing. Here's the first look of #SacredGames”, the caption read.
While Saif looks like a bloodied police officer, Radhika has a frown on her face and Nawaz has that smug expression on his face which is kind of intimidating.
With Netflix original series, Sacred Games, Saif will jump onto the digital bandwagon. Talking to a leading daily he said, "Content in the digital space is taking over the existing dynamics at a rapid pace – the crown in the digital empire lies with Netflix, and it’s extremely satisfying to partner and participate in the first original series from India to be showcased on Netflix.
The National award-winning actor, best known for his performances in films such as Omkara, Love Aaj Kal and Dil Chahta Hai, will play the role of Sartaj Singh in the series.
