The Mumbai crime branch has arrested another suspect in the Rohit Shetty house firing case from Agra. The arrested individual has been identified as Vishnu Kushwaha and will be presented in court shortly. So far, a total of 12 suspects have been arrested in connection with the case.
According to the officials, the Monday police on Monday, have arrested six people which includes the alleged shooter who fire the five rounds at Rohit Shetty's house in Juhu. The city's anti-extortion cell arrested the main accused, Deepak Sharma, along with five others from Haryana and Rajasthan on Sunday night. All six have been brought to Mumbai.

For the unversed, in the early hours of 1 February, around 12:45 am, at least five bullets were fired at the first floor of filmmaker Rohit Shetty's nine-storey building. One bullet hit the glass of a gym inside the building. However, no one was injured in this incident.
With these latest arrests, a total of 11 people have now been arrested in connection with the case. Earlier, the crime branch had arrested Aditya Gayaki (19), Siddharth Yenpure (20), Samarth Pomaji (18), Swapnil Sakat (23), and Asaram Fasale, who reportedly provided a scooter, weapons, and other support to the shooter.
Moreover, Shubham Lonkar, a member of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, has claimed responsibility for the firing in a social media post. Lonkar is also wanted in the murder case of NCP leader Baba Siddique and the firing at Bollywood actor Salman Khan’s residence in Bandra.
The police have invoked the Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act (MCOCA) in this case.
After the firing incident at Rohit Shetty's house, actors Ranveer Singh, Aayush Sharma, and Punjabi actress Himanshi Khurana also received threatening messages.
