Javier Bardem, while presenting the award, said, "My love for cinema comes from a unique ability to connect human experience across cultures. The nominees for Best International Feature Film bring stories from across the world, each rooted in forces that are deeply familiar to us all."
Priyanka added, "Visceral and engrossing, they remind us that international is never truly far away because every story sends a ripple far beyond where it begins," and then went on to announce the award.

Priyanka was accompanied by her husband, Nick Jonas, at the 98th Academy Award. She looked beautiful in a white Dior gown, which she amplified with minimal jewellery and contrasting black heels. They looked dreamy together while looking into each other's eyes in photos from the red carpet event.

Over the years, Priyanka has become one of the few Indian actors regularly seen at major Hollywood platforms. This wasn’t her first time presenting at the Oscars. Back in 2016, the global star had appeared on the Academy Awards stage with Liev Schreiber to present the Best Film Editing award. A decade later, her return to the Oscars stage feels like a continuation of that journey.
On the work front, Priyanka Chopra was last seen in The Bluff. The film is currently streaming on Prime Video. Next, she will be seen in SS Rajamouli's Varanasi, co-starring Mahesh Babu. The film is slated for release on April 7, 2027.
