Little did Karan Johar think that a simple announcement of Kesari’s lead actress would land him in trouble. On Wednesday, the filmmaker announced the name of Parineeti Chopra as lead actress in his upcoming film Kesari. But instead of using Parineeti’s picture in the announcement, he used Akshay Kumar’s look from Kesari. It didn’t go down well with the Tweeple. All these attacks made on Karan Johar, made him reannounce the lead actress of the film. He also apologised to his fans and also stated that the picture used by him is misconstrued. The shooting of the Anurag Singh directorial began last week. It is based on the Battle of Saragarhi. Akshay has called it his "most ambitious film". He shared his first look from the movie, and he is seen sporting a saffron turban and a beard.
