Himesh Reshammiya ties the knot with rumoured girlfriend Sonia Kapoor
Looks like it's wedding season B-town celebs. After Sonam Kapoor- Anand Ahuja and Neha Dhupia- Angad Bedi marriage, singer and music composer Himesh Reshammiya tied the nuptial knot with his long-time rumoured girlfriend Sonia Kapoor in a private ceremony last night. Himesh and Sonia's marriage ceremony took place in the presence of his close friends and family members.
Interestingly, Himesh's son from his first marriage Swaym, also graced the event. Sharing the first pic of his marriage Himesh announced his marriage through his social media account. Captioning the picture Himesh wrote, ''Togetherness is bliss!''
In the pics, the newlyweds Himesh and Sonia are looking much in love with each other. Talking about his marriage plans Himesh in an interview with Mid-Day on Friday said, “The marriage ceremony will be held at my home tonight. We plan to throw a party for our friends in the film fraternity later. Since tonight offers an auspicious mahurat, we decided to go ahead. It was a last-minute plan. The lagna time is 1.30 am. Considering the odd mahurat time, we haven’t invited any of our friends to the ceremony.”
Talking about his relationship with Sonia, Hiemsh said, ''We have been together for a long time, so marriage was a natural progression. It feels wonderful to formalise our relationship."
Himesh on a question of who is more romantic among both said, "We are both quite romantic. I'm with the woman I love, life can't get better!" Himesh parted ways with his first wife Komal last June.
