Anushka Sharma and Shah Rukh Khan

From portraying a friendly ghost in her home production Phillauri to essaying a caring homemaker in social drama Sui Dhaaga, Anushka has done it all effortlessly and with ease. Now as a leading lady in renowned filmmaker Aanand L Rai’s fantasy/drama Zero, Anushka is all set to prove her niche once again.

Anushka’s filmography has been a mix of fun, drama, deadly, sporty and romantic shades. Remember Aarfa Ali Khan (Anushka’s character in Sultan) from Ali Abbas Zafar’s directorial venture Sultan who even dared to slap Salman Khan in a fight sequence. And the way she heroically bashed up the scoundrels in her production venture NH10, is still fresh in our minds.

Anushka always had that spark in her eyes to rise high and achieve big and luckily filmmakers noticed it in her starting days when she confidently made her presence felt opposite King Khan Shah Rukh in her Bollywood debut film Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi (RNBDJ). There has been no looking back for Anushka since. The actress gave series of hits including Band Baaja Baaraat, Jab Tak Hai Jaan, PK, Pari, Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, Sui Dhaaga, Sanju and many others.
