In April, popular Punjabi singer Parmish Verma was shot by Dilpreet Singh, who now threatened actor Gippy Grewal.

After Parmish Verma, Carry On Jatta 2 actor Gippy Grewal receives death threats from gangster Dilpreet Singh

A couple of months ago, popular Punjabi singer Parmish Verma was allegedly shot by aides of gangster Dilpreet Singh. Now, the gangster has threatened famous Punjabi singer and actor Gippy Grewal over a WhatsApp call asking him for extortion money. He even threatened to kill him if he fails to fetch money he demanded. The Mohali Police have registered an FIR on Gippy’s statement.

While speaking to Chandigarh Tribune, Mohali SSP Kuldeep Chahal said that they have registered an FIR at the Phase 8 police station against the gangster. However, SHO Gurjant Singh refused to comment on the matter. According to the Tribune, the munshi had said that no such case has been registered.

The SSP told the leading daily, “Gippy has not given any number through which the call was received but that is part of the investigation.”

Gippy Grewal is currently keeping busy with his recently released film Carry On Jatta 2. The young actor is known for his superhit films like Oscar, Angreji Beat, Hello Hello and many others.

Earlier, Parmish Verma was shot while he coming back home late at night from an event in Delhi. He claimed the responsibility for the attack in a Facebook post. He also threatened to kill four employees of Haryana and Punjab High Court.
