Pakistani actor Ali Zafar has denied all sexual sexual harassment claims made against him by his fellow actress and singer Meesha Shafi. Taking to social media, the Kill Dill actor the singer broke his silence over the claims made against him and said he will be taking the legal route. "I intend to take this through the courts of law and to address this professionally and seriously rather than to lodge any allegations here," Ali said in a tweet.
Early in the day, Shafi took to social media to open up about being sexually harassed by Zafar on multiple occasions and that her “conscience does not allow me to be silent anymore."
Talking to Twitter she said "Sharing this because I believe that by speaking out about my own experience of sexual harassment, I will break the culture of silence that permeates through our society. It is not easy to speak out... but it is harder to stay silent. My conscience will not allow it anymore #MeToo."

This accusation has not only marred Ali’s reputation in Pakistan but also in India given he has done films here as well. He has starred in films like Kill Dil with Ranveer Singh and Parineeti Chopra, Mere Brother Ki Dulhan with Katrina Kaif, London Paris New York with Aditi Rao Hydari, Dear Zindagi with Alia Bhatt to name the significant ones.
Ali Zafar is one of the biggest actor-singer in Pakistani film industry and has also worked in Bollywood played lead roles in Mere Brother Ki Dulhan, Tere Bin Laden, Kill Dill and Chashme Buddoor and also appeared in Dear Zindagi. Meesha has featured in Farhan Akhtar’s Bhaag Milkha Bhaag.
