Mumbai, Mar 29: Without the participation of any big star, the Arshad Warsi-centric film Jolly LLB has raked in Rs 31.56 crore worldwide by the end of second week, Fox Star Studios claimed today.
Directed by Subhash Kapoor, this film is the biggest solo hit of Arshad Warsi till date.
Its total now stands at domestic net of Rs 28.61 cr and overseas net at Rs 2.95 cr, says a press release.
The film has found tremendous support from the audiences, the critics and the trade, and even from Big B. It did a business of Rs 9.09 Cr domestic net in Week 2 and eclipsed even the new two releases last week.
Vijay Singh, CEO, Fox Star Studios, says: "Jolly LLB has encouraged us to raise our stakes higher in film production business. We are committed to giving audiences high value content, that is entertaining and yet very different.”
