New Delhi: South actress Shriya Saran who has worked in Bollywood flicks like Baabul, Awarapan among many others is now set to pair up with Ajay Devgn in the remake of Malayalam movie ‘Drishyam'.
While Tabu is also roped in for a role in the flick, Shriya Saran's name is also finalized.
Producer Kumar Mangat is an interview to TOI told, "Yes, we are happy to have Shriya on board. She fits the role perfectly.''
According to a leading daily, the remake will feature Tabu as a super-cop. The shooting for the flick will begin during summer in Goa and Hyderabad.
On the other side it is also said that before Ajay flies to Goa to shoot with Shriya, the actor-filmmaker also plans to fly to Belgrade. Also a bit later he may travel to Bulgaria, to finalize locations for his directorial venture Shivaay that is expected to go on floors this winter.
Meanwhile, Malayalam movie ‘Drishyam' featured Mohanlal and Meena in lead roles. It is about a man's struggle to save his family from the law.
Earlier, Ajay Devgn has worked with other South actresses like Tamannaah Bhatia, Kajal Aggarwal and Asin.
