New Delhi: AIB comedian Tanmay Bhat, who was in the news lately for the controversial video mocking national icons Lata Mangeshkar and Sachin Tendulkar, has now aimed the joke gun at Bollywood babe Priyanka Chopra.

The comedian recently made fun of Priyanka’s accent by posting a tweet on his micro blogging account.

It read, “When I say @priyankachopra's name in my head I now automatically pronounce it like "Priyaaaanka Chopruh"

It was clearly a pun over Priyanka’s accent who is currently working on many international projects.

Though, the ‘desi girl’ didn’t mind it and rather counterattacked Tanmay with a funny reply.

“I'm supposed to have the accent @thetanmay what happened to u? Lol,” she tweeted.

The conversation was going on a fun track between the comedian and the actress but it didn’t go down well with the fans of PeeCee and they started hurling abuses at Tanmany.

Take a look.

Seeing the situation going serious Tanmay decided to clarify his stand and posted yet another tweet saying he was completing the actress and not making fun of her.

“PC fans, kyu mujhpe chadh rahe ho, it was meant to be a compliment what is wrong with some of you smh,” he tweeted.

Thereafter Priyanka too tried to pacify the situation by tweeting this: “Guys it was a joke!! From me and him!! Comedy is the smartest form of entertainment!and @thetanmay has it down!xoxo”

Guess! PC and Tanmay apparently just wanted to tickle the funny bone of Twitteratis but unfortunately it went the wrong way. Nevertheless the conversation is indeed entertaining now that we know the humour quotient behind it.
