It's not the first time that Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma has dared to experiment with her roles. Her latest outing Pari has taken the audience by surprise. A beautiful actress has walked past the usual annotations of beauty in Bollywood to portray a demented woman in a horror flick. Earlier, she played a dishevelled revengeful wife in her first production venture NH10, which received rave reviews from critics across the country. Now, Anushka Sharma will be seen with Varun Dhawan in Sui Dhaaga, for which the actress has stepped into the shoes of a rural woman. The duo was shooting in Chanderi, Madhya Pradesh and the pictures leaked from the sets are already making headlines.
Anushka Sharma was spotted wearing a simple floral printed sari for her role in Sui Dhaaga. It is evident that the glamorous actress has shed her IT girl image to don the look of a traditional village woman.
In most of the pictures, Anushka, who is playing Mamta in Sui Dhaaga is seen sans makeup and accessories. One thing is for sure, the makers have put a lot of thinking in creating her look for the film. If this isn't realism, I don't know what is then.
According to the reports, Anushka Sharma and Varun Dhawan are also attending a workshop to nail their roles in Sui Dhaaga with perfection. A couple of days earlier, the official page of the film shared a video in which the actress is trying her hands on embroidery.
In another picture, Mauji aka Varun Dhawan is seen cycling in the scorching heat with onscreen wife Anushka Sharma riding a pillion. According to the caption, the Judwaa 2 actor paddled in the sun with the actress sitting pillion to churn out the perfect shot.
It is really hard to wait for the film to release after seeing these behind the scene pictures. Varun Dhawan will be seen in a never-before avatar after playing a lover boy in Judwaa 2.
Sui Dhaaga is helmed by Sharat Katariya and is based on the ideology of Make in India. It pays a tribute to Mahatma Gandhi. The first look of the film was dropped on February 12. The film is scheduled to release on September 28.
