Ever since Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput have welcomed their first child –Misha, the couple has been on their toes. In fact the actor had even confessed that post the arrival of his daughter, he has been completely obsessed by Misha who doesn’t let him go anywhere.
The new parents are indeed trying to give the best to their little princess. However, they recently sneaked out some private time amidst the hectic parenthood schedule.
Shahid, being a doting husband that he is, took wife Mira for a dinner date for the first time since her delivery.
Sasha was dressed in casuals as he walked hand in hand with Mira who looked stunning in her black dress. One could easily see the baby fat on Mira’s face, but the new mother looked undoubtedly beautiful.
The actor had been head over heels in love with Mira and has been expressing it time and again. He has admitted that Mira has made him a changed man and this change is for the good. In fact, Shahid also shared a winsome picture of his lady love on Instagram a couple of hours ago and captioned it as ‘Sunshine’.
Even during Mira’s pregnancy days, Shahid made sure to be by her side whenever required. He not pampered his ‘baby’ wife by gift, dinner dates and babymoon, but also took a paternity leave from his professional commitments post Misha’s birth to spend quality time with his wife an daughter.
On the work front, Shahid Kapoor is gearing up for his upcoming movie ‘Padmavati’, which is a Sanjay Leela Bhansali directorial. The movie has hit the floors early this month, however, Shahid will begin shooting for the Bhansali’s magnum opus in a couple of days.
Shahid Kapoor will be seen playing the role of Raja Ratan Singh opposite Deepika Padukone, who will portray Padmavati in the periodical drama. ‘Padmavati’ also feature Ranveer Singh as the lead antagonist Allaudin Khilji.
‘Padmavati’ is touted to release in December 2017.
