After nearly a decade of not being on talking terms, Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan are now close friends and how. They are known to be the best friends in the industry. In the past few years, ever since they buried the hatched at Baba Saigal's Eid party, they've been seen promoting each other's films. They might not have shared the screen space after Karan Arjun, but definitely did cameos in each other's films. Salman Khan did a dance number in SRK's Zero while the latter also had a guest appearance in Tubelight. The words have it that the two best friends will share the screen space again in Dabanng 3. Shah Rukh Khan is reported to have a cameo in the Arbaaz Khan production film.
Pinkvilla's report reads, "Dabangg 3 has a few flashback portions which will trace Salman's journey before he became the Robinhood of the area. There's a character It's of a man who helps Salman during an important scene. The team was thinking of a few names when Salman decided to call his good friend Shah Rukh to shoot for it. Salman and SRK did a FaceTime call a few weeks back, which is when Salman asked him if he can make an appearance in D3. SRK happily said yes to it."
If these reports are anything to go by, Shah Rukh Khan will also be seen in Dabanng 3 this year. Recently, when Bharat's trailer was dropped, Shah Rukh Khan took to his Twitter to congratulate Salman Khan for it.

Talking about Dabanng 3, the first schedule of the film was wrapped up in Indore recently. Sonakshi Sinha, who is reprising her role as Rajjo in the film, also joined Salman Khan in Madhya Pradesh. Shah Rukh Khan is currently in talks with the makers for locking the dates. Dabanng 3's second schedule will be shot in Mumbai.
While fans were disappointed to see Sanjay Leela Bhansali's film with Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan shelving, this news might bring some respite to them. Dabanng 3 is directed by Prabhudeva and has Salman and Sonakshi in the lead roles. The film is scheduled for December release.
