Bollywood filmmaker Karan Johar’s production house, Dharma Productions’s godown caught fire early morning on May 1. While nobody is hurt in the shocking incident, many books, costumes and artefacts got damaged. Reportedly, the fire erupted at 2:30 in the morning and soon 12 fire engines rushed to extinguish it. The Hindu quoted a police inspector Jyotsna Rasam who revealed, “Investigation is underway to identify the source of the fire.” Chief fire officer PS Rahangdale further added, “We have disconnected their electric and water supply. Action will be taken if lapses are found.”

Filmmaker Anurag Basu's next directorial venture, an action comedy anthology, will hit the theatres on January 24, 2020. The film was earlier supposed to release on September 6 this year. The currently-untitled movie centres on unavoidable jeopardies of life and has four different stories set in a quintessential Indian metro. It features Abhishek Bachchan, Aditya Roy Kapur, Rajkummar Rao, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Sanya Malhotra and Pankaj Tripathi.
