Kartik Aaryan has been riding high on success after Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety’s massive success. It is among the highest grossing films of the year 2018 and also among few that crossed the 100-crore mark at the box office. The chocolate boy’s performance in the Luv Ranjan movie as an over-caring friend resonated well with the Indian audience. Now, after proving his mettle in acting, Kartik Aaryan is finally on roll. He is all set to star in the Hindi remake of Kannada hit movie Kirik Party.
The movie will be directed by National Award-winning director Abhishek Jain and bankrolled by Dheeraj Wadhwan, Ajay Kapoor and Vrithika Laykar.
Film critic and trade analyst, Taran Adarsh took to Twitter to confirm the news. He wrote, "IT'S OFFICIAL... Kartik Aaryan in the Hindi remake of Kannada smash hit #KirikParty... Directed by Abhishek Jain... Produced by Dheeraj Wadhwan, Ajay Kapoor, and Vrithika Laykar... Filming begins Oct 2018."

The film, which will go on floors from October, deals with a central theme of how friendship and love can turn a boy into a compassionate man. The original film Kirik Party had Rakshit Shetty, Rashmika Mandanna, Samyuktha Hegde in lead roles. The film became one of the highest grossing Kannada film all time and celebrated a successful run of 150-days in over 15 theatres. The film was also remade in Telugu as Kirrak Party.
Meanwhile, the 'Sonu ke Titu ki Sweety' star will be next seen in 'Luka Chuppi' with Kriti Sanon.
