Jethalal of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah
Fans of Bollywood and television celebrities often go beyond their limits to express love and admiration for their favourite actors. Some fan stories are really crazy, while some are quite weird leaving even the celebrity in shock.
Many have done irrational things to meet their favourite celeb and one such incident happened when two minor boys ran away from their home to meet Jethalal of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah. Two boys reportedly aged 14 and 13 respectively belong to Rajasthan and wanted to meet Jethalal aka Dilip Joshi. Both boys, who are cousins in relation, left their home with Rs 4100 and travelled to Mumbai by bus.
A report in Spotboye.com claims that both of them were asking details about Dilip Joshi's residence in Powai when an onlooker found their body language suspicious. After being informed, police during a discussion with the kids learnt that they are huge Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah fans and don't even miss a single episode. Now, police are trying to get in touch with team of the SAB TV show, so that these little fans can meet their favourite actor.
Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah is India's longest running sitcom that went on air in July 2008. It is based on a column by Gujarati journalist and columnist Taarak Mehta for magazine Chitralekha.
