New Delhi: German car maker Volkswagen has launched an upgraded version of premium sedan Jetta in India, at Rs 13.70-19.43 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).
The new model comes with a host of new features, including xenon headlamps with headlamp washers, LED daytime running lights, dual-zone climatronic AC, and 16-inch alloy wheels.
The new Jetta is also fitted with 12-way electrically adjustable driver's seat, 60:40 folding rear seat, front- and rear-mounted proximity sensors, Bluetooth -compatible music system, digital instrument panel with multi-function display (MFD), cruise control and paddle shifters for the DSG gearbox.
In terms of mileage and engine power, the Jetta 1.4L TSI packs 122 horsepower and 200Nm of torque, and boasts an ARAI-certified 14.69kmpl of fuel efficiency. The Jetta 2.0L TDI offers 140 horsepower and 320Nm of torque, and an ARAI-certified 19.33kmpl of fuel efficiency for the manual and 16.96kmpl for the DSG automatic.
Regarding safety, the new Jetta also boasts anti-lock brakes (ABS), electronic stabilization program (ESP) and 6 airbags. It also features 510-litres of boot space to allow you to dump all your luggage in the boot.
Other features of the vehicle include dual-zone climatronic AC, 12-way electrically adjustable driver's seat and 60:40 folding rear seat.
The new Volkswagen Jetta range is now available at all Volkswagen showrooms across the country and is priced from Rs 13.70 lakh to Rs 19.43 lakh, ex-showroom New Delhi.
