Zica, Tata's much-awaited car, was unveiled on 1st of December in Goa and this new hatchback is expected to be launched on 15th January 2016.
The vehicle will join the passenger car portfolio of the company that will surely hit the market with a competitive price tag. The car will be competing against popular Hyundai i10 and Maruti Celerio in the segment.

Tata design studios based in Pune, Italy and the UK have collectively done efforts to sketch the car's diagram.

These motors are sourced out of Revotron and Revotorq, the in-house developed family of engines by Tata.
The 1.2-litre Revotron petrol mill produces 85PS at 6000 rpm along with a peak torque of 114Nm at 3500 rpm.
On the other hand, the 1.05-litre Revotorq diesel motor delivers 70 PS at 4000 rpm and a maximum torque ranging between 1800-3000 rpm.
Both the power plants are expected to come mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox while the AMT will also be optionally available.
