New Delhi, June 11: Intex Technologies has come out with its Intex Aqua I-5 smartphone in the Indian market. The Aqua I-5 is powered by 1.2GHz quad-core processor and runs on Android 4.2. It comes along with 1GB of RAM and offers 4GB of internal storage which can be further expanded by up to 32GB via microSD card.
The device offers a 5 inch IPS display with qHD (540x960) resolution and is powered by a 2000mAh battery with claimed talktime of up to 5 hours. The smartphone offers a 12-megapixel rear auto-focus camera along with flash and a 2-megapixel front camera. The i-5's rear camera also comes with five layer lenses and BSI Sensor.
It is a dual-SIM GSM + GSM smartphone. Other connectivity options include 3G, Bluetooth 4.0 and Wi-Fi. In addition, the device comes with four sensors - Environment Light Sensor, Motion Sensor, Proximity Sensor and G sensor.
Other features include flip-mute, pattern lock security, face screen unlock, voice screen unlock and FM radio. The phone is available in white and black colours.

Intex is currently offering 12 mid-segment smartphones under its Aqua range and has drawn out plans to launch 20 more smartphones in the coming quarter.
