Vodafone users can avail this service called balance transfer service which you can use to transfer your balance to your friend's Vodafone number. Here's how you'd do it.
As a donor you have to dial
*131*MRP*Receiver number#
An example is:
*131*50*9213456783*
Thus you gifted Rs 50 balance to mobile number 9213456783. Vodafone apply a nominal charge for this facility. Also to use this facility, both donor and receiver must have completed 90 days in Vodafone network.
