Also, the world's best-selling tablet got slimmer and lighter, with a fresh new design in line with its younger sibling, the iPad mini. Similarly, the HTC One emerged as the answer to the iPhone with its solid aluminium frame and chamfered edges. Amazon too came out with its new Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 tablet features an 8.9-inch display with a resolution of 2560x1600 pixels resolution and pixel density of 339ppi leaving behind the iPad Air. Similarly, we also saw the launch of LG G Flex, one of the first curved display smartphones featuring a 6-inch display that curves from the top to bottom.
