The X-E2 is a mirrorless interchangeable lens camera and features a 16.3MP APS-C X-Trans CMOS II sensor with an autofocus time claimed to be at 0.08 seconds. The sensor of the camera uses an original colour filter array with a randomised pixel generator that removes the need for an Optical Low Pass Filter (OLPF) that degrades resolution.
