Greater Noida: Maruti Suzuki India Ltd has showcased the Gyspy Escapade concept at the 2014 Auto Expo in Greater Noida.The Maruti Suzuki Gypsy has been the top choice for off-road enthusiasts in India due to its amazing off-roading prowess. The new Maruti Suzuk Gypsy Escapade is sure to get many car lovers excited as the modified vehicle comes with a bright yellow paint job, boasts of hood scoops and has a pair of auxiliary lamps mounted at the top of the windscreen. The vehicle also has high ground clearance and larger tyres.Under the hood, the car remains unchanged. The new Gypsy model is powered the same tried and tested 1.3 litre MPFI petrol engine that comes with the regular model. The engine delivers a max power of 80 bhp and peak torque of 103 Nm. Indeed, the Gypsy in this form looks much better than the regular version which comes with black versions and a hard/soft roof-top. Maruti Suzuki isn't taking the Gypsy seriously anymore, although the model is now an icon for its off-road prowess.
