New Delhi: Asus has launched its new budget smartphone, the Zenfone C (ZC451CG), in India at Rs 5,999. The phone will be available in red, white and black colours on Flipkart starting February 11 and at Asus exclusive stores starting February 18.
ASUS Zenfone C comes with a 4.5-inch FWVGA (480x854) IPS display and is powered by a 1.2GHz Intel CloverTrail processor is a multi-core powerhouse with quad-thread Hyper-Threading Technology with 1GB RAM. It runs Android 4.4 KitKat OS with Asus ZenUI layer on top.
Inbuilt storage includes 8GB which can be further expanded up to 64GB via microSD card.
The device comes with a 5MP rear camera and a VGA front-facing camera. The phone also features the company's PixelMaster technology to capture up to 400%-brighter photos at night, or in low-light scenes, without the need for a flash.
The handset is powered by a 2100mAh battery which the company claims offers up to 29.8 hours of 3G talk time and up to 260 hours of standby time.
Connectivity options include 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS.
