New Delhi: Apple is likely to hold an event on March 15, though; there has been no official announcement from the tech giant. Rumors have been doing the rounds some of which suggest that the event's initial date was 22nd, but it has been advanced to 15th March.

Apple's September and June events have a predictable pattern but the March event has been held only twice, once in 2012 and 2015. The tech giant never attends the major trade shows such as MWC, IFA.

Despite no confirmation, the rumours are going strong. So what can we expect from the event:

Apple iPhone 5se: iPhone 5se, which was previously referred to as the iPhone 6C, it is a revamped version of the iPhone 5s but with design and features similar to iPhone 6 series. Also it will be a successor to the colourful, iPhone 5C with a 4-inch screen. It is expected to be powered by Apple's A9 chip with M9 motion coprocessor, NFC support for Apple Pay and Siri activation always-on. It is likely to be priced at $450, approximately Rs 30,000, for the 16GB model. Apple is also expected to introduce a 64GB variant.

Apple iPad Air 3: Apple had decided during the September 2015 event not to update the iPad Air 2 and announced the iPad mini 4 and iPad Pro instead. This led people believe the iPad Air 3, or smaller iPad Pro, will be announced during the March 2016 event. Reports suggest that the new 9.7-inch iPad will come with a similar design to the larger Apple iPad Pro including. It will have four-speaker setup, Smart Connector and will also be compatible to the Apple Pencil. It will also feature Apple's A9X processor with M9 motion co-processor and 4GB of RAM.

Apple Watch 2: Apple Watch was announced in September 2014; further details were given about it in March 2015 and it was finally released in April 2015. Reports suggest that the successor will appear at the March event this year. Rumours also suggest that it will come with the same design and form factor as the original model, with a rectangular screen, resolution and body. Also some other reports claim that new features such as a front-facing video camera will be added.
