New Delhi: In another addition to its existing range of Eluga-series, smartphone maker Panasonic today launched the Eluga Note, priced at Rs. 13,290. Available via offline retailers across India, the smartphone is targeted at the youth and will only be available in champagne gold colour.

Features: The Eluga Note runs on a custom FitHome interface on the top of Android. The UI features thumb-flick gestures to quickly access apps from the home screen. It also adds an IR Blaster that will allow users to operate home appliances, which includes TVs, ACs and multimedia home entertainment systems such as DVD and Blu-Ray players. The smartphone also comes with support for 4G LTE and VoLTE voice calling.

Specifications: The smartphone features a 5.5-inch full HD (1080p) IPS display with pixel density of 403ppi. It is powered by MediaTek’s 1.3GHz octa-core processor coupled with 3GB of RAM. It has a 32GB of onboard storage that features a microSD card slot for further expansion up to 32GB.

The Eluga Note has a 16-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megpaixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calling. It comes with a 3,000mAh battery and in terms of connectivity the smartphone include Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, GPS and dual SIM 4G LTE with VoLTE support.

Comparisons: The Panasonic Eluga Note will compete with Xiaomi Redmi Note 3, LeEco Le 2 and Lenovo’s ZUK Z1.
