New Delhi: Micromax today has announced its Canvas Fire-series smartphone, Fire 5, available at a price of Rs. 6,199.
The Micromax Canvas Fire 5 will be available in champagne, grey, and silver colour variants.
Also, the company is offering additional benefits to the customers - 6 months of free Gaana streaming service subscription for unlimited song downloads.
The Canvas Fire 5 features a 5.5-inch HD (720x1280 pixels) IPS display. The smartphone comes with Android 6.0 Marshmallow and 5 is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek SoC coupled with 1GB of RAM.
There is 16GB of inbuilt storage on board which is further expandable via microSD card (up to 64GB).

The smartphone will come with 8-megapixel rear autofocus camera with LED flash. There is a 5-megapixel front-facing camera on board as well. Connectivity options include Bluetooth, GPS/ A-GPS, GPRS/ EDGE, 3G, and Micro-USB. The device is backed by a 2500mAh battery.
