Rakhi Sawant floats Rashtriya Aam Party, seeks green chilli symbol

Mumbai: Bollywood item girl Rakhi Sawant, who is contesting the Lok Sabha elections as an independent candidate from Mumbai North West, has floated Rashtriya Aam Party.

In one of the billboards, Rakhi Sawant has worn a completely green outfit , with one active member on the social media wondering whether she got her inspiration from Kermit the Frog.

Rakhi Sawant is facing Mahesh Manjrekar of Raj Thackeray's Maharashtra Navnirman Sena, Congress MP Gurudas Kamat, Shiv Sena's Gajanan Kirtikar and Samajwadi Party candidate Kamaal R Khan .

A social media blogger commented, this seemed to be one hell of a Bigg Boss house.

KRK tweeted: 'If Rakhi Sawant gets more than 1000 votes, I shall leave India forever'.

Another from the Twitteratti brigade wondered, if Bipasha, Rakhi, Mallika all enter politics, it would really become transparent.

Rakhi Sawant is seeking green chilli symbol from the Returning Officer, as she says the green chilli reflects her persona.

'I am neither an orphan politician nor an independent. Now I have my own party and I am the vice-president'.
