The price of petrol and diesel also went up in the national capital and stood at Rs 92.05 and Rs 82.61 per litre, respectively.
This took the price of petrol in Delhi to Rs 91.27 per litre and that of diesel to Rs 81.73. In Sri Ganganagar district of Rajasthan, petrol touched Rs 102.15 a litre, prices from oil companies showed.
With Thursday's increase, petrol is now being retailed at Rs 90.99 a litre and diesel Rs 81.42 a litre in the national capital.
This is second increase in fuel prices in as many days as petrol and diesel prices rose by 15 paisa and 18 paisa per litre respectively even on Tuesday after a 18 days break.
The pumps price of petrol and diesel remained at Thursday's level of Rs 90.40 a litre and Rs 80.73 a litre respectively in Delhi.

Across the country as well the petrol and diesel prices fell with the quantum varying depending on the level of local levies in respective states.
Petrol price was cut to Rs 90.99 a litre in Delhi from Rs 91.17 per litre, according to a price notification of state-owned fuel retailers. Diesel now comes for Rs 81.30 a litre in the national capital, down from Rs 81.47 previously.
"It will be a good move, but the decision rests with the GST Council," Subramanian said during a recent interaction with FICCI FLO members.
In the last 12 days, the petrol price has gone up by Rs 3.64 per litre while diesel rate has risen by Rs 4.18 a litre in the national capital region.
In Madhya Pradesh' Anuppur district, petrol crossed ₹ 100 per litre reaching Rs. 100.25 per litre on Thursday after Rajasthan's Sriganganagar. Diesel price also stood at Rs. 90.35 per litre in the region.
Accordingly, oil marketing companies raised the pump price of petrol by 34 paise and diesel by another 32 paise per litre in Delhi. With this increase, petrol is now priced at Rs 89.88 a litre and diesel Rs 80.27 a litre in the national capital.
In Mumbai, petrol price touched the Rs 96 per litre mark today, the highest price to date, as compared with Rs 95.75 on Tuesday. After a 26 paise hike, people in Mumbai have to shell out Rs 86.98 for a litre of diesel.
Petrol price in Delhi inched closer to Rs 90 per litre as the fuel price is seeing a continuous surge.
The rate of petrol with additives has crossed the Rs 100 mark for a litre in Maharashtra's Parbhani district on Sunday morning, an office bearer of a petrol dealers' association said.
In the national capital, petrol climbed to Rs 88.73 a litre and diesel soared to Rs 79.06, the notification showed. Rajasthan, which levies the highest VAT on fuel in the country, had the highest petrol and diesel prices. In Sriganganagar town of the state, petrol soared to Rs 99.29 and diesel jumped to Rs 91.17 per litre.
Accordingly, oil marketing companies raised the pump price of diesel by year high level of 36 paise per litre and petrol by another 30 paise per litre in Delhi.
Across the country as well, the petrol prices increase within the 25-30 paisa per litre range, while diesel between 30-35 paisa per litre -- depending on the level of local taxes on the two petroleum products.
This took petrol price to an all-time high of Rs 87.85 a litre in Delhi and to Rs 94.36 in Mumbai. Diesel rates rose to Rs 78.03 per litre in the national capital and to an all-time high of Rs 84.94 in Mumbai.
