RJD supremo Lalu Prasad was the chief guest at the 130th birth anniversary programme of Bihar's first chief minister Sri Krishna Singh, which was organised by the Congress.
The only exception was the BJP-ruled Rajasthan where the cross-voting favoured Opposition candidate Meira Kumar and it should be a matter of concern for Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje Scindia.
Kovind received 2930 votes with a value of 7,02,044, while Meira Kumar got 1844 votes with a value of 3,67,314.

NDA nominee Ram Nath Kovind received 60683 votes while opposition’s Meira Kumar got 22941 votes in Assam, Arunachal, Andhra Pradesh and Bihar.
"I have fought this elections with faith, belief and confidence in the ideology. I also believe in inner voice of conscience," Meira Kumar said.
