Karni Sena stages protest against 'Meena Samaj' in Rajasthan's Pratapgarh
The Rajput organisation has demanded an immediate apology in the case, even as the Minister said she was not referring to the community, while the Congress slammed her statements.

Karni Sena chief said the ongoing protest would be intensified and continued till Sanjay Leela Bhansali's "Padmaavat" is banned.
The faction accused Bhansali of ''hurting the honour of Maa Padmini''.

The petitioner said that the Centre, Haryana and Punjab governments and the Chandigarh administration have been made party in this case.
Quiet since long on the issue of threats and violence perpetrated by Karni Sena and other fringe outfits, the opposition leaders were quick to attack the BJP Government for alleged inaction against protests after Wednesday violence.
"Rajputs can never even think of attacking a school bus. This is a plot being created by politicians, who wish to weaken our peaceful protest," Karni Sena spokesperson said.
As a precautionary measure, security has been tightened in different parts of the country. The Karni Sena has given a call for 'Bharat Bandh' today.
