Along with Revenue Minister Thorat, Co-operation Minister Balasaheb Patil, Agriculture Minister Dadaji Bhuse, Minister of State for Agriculture and Co-operation Dr Vishwajit Kadam's delegation had an hour-long discussion with Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) President Sharad Pawar on the state's agriculture reform bill.
Balasaheb Thorat is heading the Maharashtra Pradesh Congress Committee since July 2019.

The NCP has announced that Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray would be the next chief minister of Maharashtra. He will be sworn in CM on Thursday evening at Shivaji Park in Dadar, the place where his party holds traditional Dussehra rally each year.
The development came after the Supreme Court verdict ordering an Assembly floor test on November 27, amid speculation that Thorat - the seniormost eight-time elected legislator - could be in the race for Pro-Tem Speaker.
