Bidar student alleges discrimination over sacred thread at Karnataka CET centre, principal suspended
Karnataka | Apr 20, 2025, 10:18 AM ISTA student in Bidar, Karnataka, was allegedly barred from writing the CET exam after he refused to remove his Janeu (sacred thread). The incident took place on April 17 at Sai Spoorthi PU College. Following the student's complaint, the principal and a staff member were suspended.
