Sony Mobile has announced the new Xperia Ace (SO-02L) in Japan along with the Xperia 1. The Sony Xperia Ace price is 48,600 JPY (Rs 31,190 approx.) and will be going on sale via Japanese operator NTT Docomo starting 1st June. It comes with IPX5 and IPX8 ratings for the dust-resistant body.

Sony Xperia Ace specifications

The Sony Xperia Ace comes with a 5-inch Full HD+ 18:9 aspect ratio with LCD Trilluminous Display for Mobile and 2160 x 1080 pixels. The phone comes powered by a 2.2 GHz Octa-Core Snapdragon 630 14nm Mobile Platform with Adreno 508 GPU with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage that can be expanded to 512GB via microSD card.

It comes with 12 Megapixel rear camera with LED flash, f/1.8 aperture, 1.25 μm, Exmor R sensor, Hybrid (OIS + EIS) image stabilization and 8 Megapixel front camera. The phone gets a side mounted fingerprint sensor and comes with Water and Dust Resistant (IPX5 / IPX8). It houses a 2700mAh battery with fast charging and gets other features like 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 5 LE, WiFi 802.11 ac (2.4 GHz and 5 GHz), GLONASS, GPS and USB Type-C.

The Sony Xperia Ace will be available in three colour options of Purple, Black and White.
