It's a known fact that Samsung is working on a new Infinity O display for quite some time. It was unclear as to which phone would it first come with, but it seems like the phone would be the Galaxy A8s, which will be the first smartphone from Samsung that will feature the Infinity O display that is likely to launch in December. The Infinity O comes with a small cut out at the top of the display that accommodates the front camera in the display.
As per the specifications that have leaked on the German website allaboutsamsung, the Samsung Galaxy A8s will come with a 6.39-inch Infinity-O display with FHD+ resolution, wherein the display panel is speculated to be manufactured by BOE, which means it could be an LCD panel. The phone would be powered by the Snapdragon 710 processor coupled with 6GB RAM and 128 GB storage.
For the cameras, the phone will come with triple rear cameras that include a 24 Megapixel sensor, a 5 Megapixel secondary camera and a 10 Megapixel sensor. Towards the front would be the 24 Megapixel camera that will be fitted in a 6.7mm diameter hole placed in the display. It will house a 3400mAh battery and will come with USB Type-C port. There are no reports in context to the price and availability of the phone as if now.
