CWG 2022 - PV Sindhu to be India's flagbearer in the opening ceremony
- Two-time Olympic medallist and Indian shuttler PV Sindhu has been named as India's flagbearer
- The development comes in after Neeraj Chopra was ruled out of the Commonwealth games due to a groin injury
- The opening ceremony will take place on July 28, 2022
- Bhaskar Bhatt, boxing team head coach moved out of his room to accommodate Sandhya Gurung - Lovlina Borgohain's personal coach.
- "I am more experienced and mature now.I always wanted to be the best version of myself. I was in the best possible shape in 2018 CWG and I am very confident as I play the Birmingham CWG," Srikanth told PTI in an interview.
- The deal is aimed at increasing collaboration on anti-doping.
- Witold Banka, President, WADA, said that he was "satisfied" with the preparations for the Games.
