IND A vs USA T20 World Cup warm-up Highlights: India A beat US by 38 runs in practice game in Navi Mumbai

So, India A have won this match by 38 runs. Naman Dhir comes to bowl his first over in the 20th and gets two wickets. He first removes Mohsin and then gets the last wicket of Ali Khan as the Indians win this by 38 runs. 

Bishnoi strikes once more as he cleans up Harmeet Singh for two. USA are now eight down for 194.

Despite Badoni taking a wicket, he has been deposited for three sixes in a 23-run over. He is erring in his lines and has been punished. USA 173/6 after 17. Need 66 from 18 balls.

Now Badoni came to roll his arm over. He gets Shubham caught at deep mid-wicket on this short ball as he looked to pull it but straight into the safe hands of Tilak. USA 154/6 after 16.2.

Another one gone. End of a strong cameo from Krishnamurthi, who has been dismissed by Khaleel. This was fuller as he sliced this straight to Riyan at deep backward point. USA 139/5 after 15.1

Sanjay Krishnamurthi and Shubham Ranjane are targeting their bowlers and are putting up some good runs here in the middle. Krishnamurthi hit a couple of sixes off Tilak for a 15-run over, and then the two churned out 14 from Riyan Parag's first over. Manav Suthar and Ravi Bishnoi have been taken for 12 runs each as USA stay on 128/4 after 14 overs.

After doing well with the bat, Tilak Varma has struck with the ball as he removed the set Gous for 44. The batter looked to slog sweep it but has been caught at the boundary. USA 75/4 after 10.1

USA have gone past their 50 in the sixth over but they are not able to find boundaries at frequent intervals. A win looks way too far for them.

In case you missed it, Mayank Yadav is also back in action. He had been troubled by back problems, but will be looking to stay fit in the time to come. He is into his second over and is bowling well. No speedometer shown here, so can't tell you about his speeds for now.

India A get their second as Khaleel Ahmed strikes. He removes Saiteja Mukkamalla for duck as Tilak takes a fine catch. USA 34/2 after 4.

Ravi Bishnoi strikes for India A. First wicket for the Indians here against the USA. Bishnoi cleans up Monank Patel with a wrong-un. USA 32/1 after 3.

This is a fine start by the USA in the chase. Andries Gous got 12 from the first over and then scores 11 more from the second over as Mayank yadav comes to bowl his first.

The USA have begun their innings and A Gous and M Patel are on the crease. 

That is a strong batting display from the Indian A team. They have put up 238/3 in their 20 overs with Jagadeesan slamming a 104. Badoni also hit an unbeaten 60, while Tilak made 38. 

This was quite over for India A, but Badoni gets a four and gets to his fifty. A 21-ball fifty for the India A skipper.

India A have gone past 200 here in the 18th over. Ayush Badoni slams a six over long-off to take India A past 200. Badoni is looking to go big every now and then now. India A will look for something around 240.

Jagadeesan gets to his century. This is a high-class knock from the opener. Even though he is not part of the World Cup squad, Jagadeesan is doing a brilliant woek here. 

Ayush Badoni, the Indian A skipper, is nailing some brilliant strokes. He hits a four and a couple of sixes as he is making his own mark here.

While Tilak is gone, Jagadeesan is closing in on his hundred. He is in his 90s as Ayush Badoni joins him. India have gone past 150 and are looking for a daunting total here.

Ohh, Tilak Varma has been dismissed here. He walks back for 39 off 24 balls. He looked to pull this short one from Shubham Ranjane, but gets an edge on it and is caught behind. India 156/2 after 13.1

The Indian A team is playing so brilliantly here with especially Jagadeesan doing so well. Tilak Varma is not getting much strike but he is playing well too. India A 142/1 after 12. 

Ali Khan has been dispatched for 14 runs in the 11th over. Jagadeesan slammed a huge six over cow corner and then cut one to third for a four. India A 128/1 after 11. 

India are on song here. Jagadeesan and Tilak are unleashing their strokes. To the relief of the Indian fans, Tilak is looking good on his comeback from injury. India 114/1 after 10.

Tilak now goes reverse to hit this one over backward point. A six from Tilak on this fuller. He looks to be in good touch at 27 from 14. Jagadeesan has got to his fifty off 27 balls.

And now Tilak Varma joins the party. He has pressed the accelerator as he hits Harmeet Singh for a four and then a six. The four was a strong punch towards covers, while the six was a hit straight down the ground, just escaping the fielder at the long-off.

Jagadeesan gets a big over. He slams 20 off Milind Kumar's second over with three fours, a six and a couple. India 89/1 after 8.

Tilak gets to his first boundary. A glance off his pads of Harmeet Singh as he finds the square leg fence. Eight runs from the over. India A 69/1 after 7.

And the powerplay ends in Navi Mumbai as India A are off to a strong start. India A are at 61/1 after 6 overs. Jagadeesan on 28 off 18, Tilak on 4 from 5 balls on his return. 

Priyansh Arya has been dismissed here as India A lose their first. In comes Tilak Varma in his first competitive outing since his surgery. 

And now Jagadeesan has also joined the party as he hits a couple of fours off Milind Kumar's over. 19 from the third over as India stay at 37/0 after 3.

Priyansh Arya kicks off India's charge with the bat on a strong note. He hit a first-ball four and then slammed a six off the last ball of the second over of Ali Khan. India 18/0 after 2 overs.

The match gets underway. Priyansh Arya and N Jagadeesan are out in the middle for India A as Saurabh Netravalkar begins the charge with the ball. And Priyansh welcomes him with a first-ball four.

Star batter Tilak Varma will be making his competitive cricket return. He last played for India during the T20I series against South Africa in December 2025. He had suffered a testicular torsion for which he underwent surgery. Tilak is making his competitive cricket return today.

India A will be facing USA in their first warm-up fixture at the Dr DY Patil Sports Academy, Navi Mumbai, on February 2.

The senior Indian team will lock horns against South Africa in their second practice outing at the same venue on February 4.

India A will lock horns against Namibia in their last warm-up fixture at the BCCI Centre of Excellence Ground 1, Bengaluru, on February 6.
