The Indian cricket fans know how Team India skipper Virat Kohli idolises former captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni and how well they get along on and off field and it's been quite a while since they met after the commencement of the 11th edition of the Indian Premier League

On Wednesday, the IPL saw a major clash as Royal Challengers Bangalore hosted Chennai Super Kings at the M Chinnaswamy stadium in Bengaluru. However, before the match could kickoff, a photography was clicked which went viral across all social media platforms and eventually sent fans into a frenzy.

The high octane clash saw Chennai Super Kings prevail victorious over the Royal Challengers Bangalore in a thriller match, courtesy to MS Dhoni who alongside Ambati Rayudu chased a mammoth target of 206 set by the hosts, where Dhoni steered Chennai to a 5 wicket win at the M Chinnaswamy stadium.

The match had all the emotions present as Kohli and Dhoni's wives, Anushka Sharma and Sakshi were backing them up till the very end. However, a picture which surfaced across the net won the hearts of millions on seeing Kohli hugging Dhoni before the match when they met on field. 

Twitter couldn't help but describe the 'bro-goals' as one of the best moments in the Indian Premer League. Take a look.

After the match, Kohli lauded Dhoni's performance and said, " Dhoni is looking in really good touch, he's hitting the ball really well this IPL but not great to see it against us."
