23.39 IST: Sunrisers Hyderabad (146-all out) beat Royal Challengers Bangalore (141/6) by 5 runs. Shakib 2/36, Kohli 39. Colin de Grandhomme OUT! HYDERABAD HAVE WON IT BY 5 RUNS! Just how do you hit those over the fence? Just, how? Take a bow, Kumar. An exceptional penultimate over has been followed by an even better last over by one of the best death bowlers going around. A yorker to end everything and it is outside off. De Grandhomme walks across and tries to flick but he only manages to get a thick inside edge onto his stumps.

23.27 IST: FOUR! Fortune is favoring Bangalore here! This is an excellent delivery. A yorker on off. Colin tries to jam it out but gets a bottoem edge past the keeper for a boundary. 20 from 15.

23.21 IST: SIX! Back-to-back maximums and Bangalore have come alive. Tossed up around middle and off, Colin sits down and slog sweeps this one. It sails over a leaping Dhawan at deep mid-wicket for another biggie. He is turning it on here.

23.19 IST: SIX! Goodness me! That is brute force from the Kiwi! Googly again on the shorter side, Colin de Grandhomme stays put and whips it across the line. The ball dashes flush on the adverting cushion and it's a maximum. Wow.

23.13 IST: FOUR! He's hit that alright! Oh dear! Sloppiness from Kaul in the deep. Holds back to a slower length delivery and pulls it off the middle through mid-wicket. Kaul in the deep comes across to his left and lets the ball through his hands for a boundary. 9 off the over, a fruitful one for Bangalore.

23.08 IST: After 14 overs, RCB are 93/5. Shakib Al Hasan to Colin de Grandhomme, 1 run. Goes deep in the crease and flicks it through square leg for a single. 4-0-36-2 finishes Shakib. Well done!

23.03 IST: RCB 87/5 in 13 overs. Sandeep Sharma to Mandeep Singh, 1 run. Yes, he can. Just a single to end the over. 60 needed from the last 7. Short and on middle, Mandeep Singh pulls it through mid-wicket for a run.

22.57 IST: Colin de Grandhomme is the new man in.

22.56 IST: OUT! Siddarth Kaul removes Ali for 10. Another one bites the dust! Half the side back in the hut for Bangalore. What a turnaround this match has seen here. Three wickets in the last three overs. Another bowling change does the trick. The debutante's stay is a short one. This is on a length and around off, it angles away further. Moeen goes for the pull but the ball takes the bottom edge and goes into the mitts of Saha. He takes it and appeals. Kaul is seen pleading. The umpire gives it a thought and raises his finger. Ali starts to walk. Hyderabad are all over Bangalore here. Royal Challengers Bangalore 84/5 in 11.4 overs vs Sunrisers Hyderabad (146-all out).

22.53 IST: FOUR! Almost another! Inside edge! Kaul slants it away on a length outside off, Ali with no feet movement goes after it. Gets an inside edge as the ball just about evades the leg pole and scoots down to the fine leg fence for a streaky boundary. RCB 84/4 in 11.1 overs.

22.51 IST: Mandeep Singh is the next man in.

22.50 IST: OUT! Rashid Khan removes de Villiers for 5. TIMBER! The two superstars for Bangalore are back in the hut in two overs. Once again it is the googly which does the trick. He survived a scare on the last ball but this time sees his stumps get knocked over. Rashid gets his first, he could have had three by now. It is the wrong 'un outside off. It turns back in and once again ABD fails to pick it. He goes back to cut but misses to see his stumps get shattered. Bangalore in trouble now. 67 more needed. Royal Challengers Bangalore 80/4 in 10.4 overs vs Sunrisers Hyderabad (146-all out)

22.47 IST: FOUR! EDGED BUT RUNS! Short and outside off, Ali goes for the cut but the ball takes the outside edge. Goes over the slip fielder and into the fence. RCB 79/3 in 10.1 overs.

22.46 IST: Moeen Ali comes out to bat.

22.45 IST: OUT! Shakib removes Kohli for 39. WHAT A CATCH! Yusuf Pathan you beauty! Shakib gets the big fish. Once again the bowling change works wonders for Williamson. This is bowled flatter on off, Kohli tries to whip it through mid-wicket but gets an outside edge which lobs towards Pathan at short third man. For a second it seemed like it would go over him but he times his leap to perfection, stretches a hand out and the ball sticks. Outstanding! Another drop catch has not cost a lot and Kohli who was looking so fluent out there is walking back. Game on! Royal Challengers Bangalore 74/3 in 9.5 overs vs Sunrisers Hyderabad (146-all out).

22.37 IST: DROPPED AND FOUR! Kohli has been dropped and it is the skipper who has scuffed it. Has he dropped the game? The leg spinner on off, it turns away. Kohli tries to push it through the off side but gets an outside edge towards first slip. Williamson there gets low but only manages to get fingers to it and it add to that the ball races away to the third man fence. Rashid now has two catches dropped of his bowling.

22.31 IST: AB de Villiers arrives next.

22.30 IST: OUT! Sandeep Sharma removes Vohra for 8. CHOPPED IT ON! Very unfortunate for Manan Vohra but Sandeep won't mind at all. He strikes off his first ball of his new spell. A much-needed wicket for Hyderabad. It is the slower one on the pads, Vohra shuffles across and goes for the slog sweep. The ball however, hits his gloves, the goes onto hit his pads, lobs up and hits the back of the bat and then rolls onto the stumps. Vohra can't believe it as he stands there in disbelief. He has to walk off though and the drop catch has not cost the home side a lot. The visitors need another 87 in 77. Royal Challengers Bangalore 60/2 in 7.1 overs vs Sunrisers Hyderabad in Hyderabad.

22.28 IST: RCB 60/1 in 7 overs. Rashid Khan to Virat Kohli, no run. The leg spinner on off, Kohli pushes it to covers. Just five from Rashid's first. They need more of such overs.

22.24 IST: The powerplay has come to an end and Bangalore have put it to good use. Parthiv's dismissal hasn't rattled the visitors one bit as Kohli takes control. It's not a difficult target to chase, but Hyderabad have won in such situations before. Rashid Khan comes into the attack. RCB 55/1 in 6 overs

22.21 IST: FOUR! Kohli is on the charge here! He is taking full toll of the Powerplay. Comes down the track to a length ball and whips it over the mid-wicket fielder for another boundary.  RCB 51/1 in 5.1 overs

22.19 IST: FOUR! Make that 14! Deft from Kohli. Flatter and outside off, Kohli waits for it and guides it through short third man for a boundary. RCB 46/1 in 4.5 overs

22.18 IST: SIX! That has gone all the way! What a shot! Uses his feet to get to the pitch of the ball and tonks it over long on for a biggie. 10 from the last two deliveries.  RCB 42/1 in 4.4 overs

22.18 IST: FOUR! A half-tracker and Kohli pounces on it. He pulls it over mid-wicket and fetches himself a boundary.  RCB 36/1 in 4.3 overs

22.14 IST: FOUR! All timing this was! Full and on off, Kohli leans into it and strokes it through covers. Beating two fielders who dived for it. One at short covers and the other at mid off for a boundary.  RCB 30/1 in 3.2 overs

22.12 IST: OUT! Shakib Al Hasan removes Parthiv for 20. Shakib has the last laugh and the way he celebrated it shows how much that means to him. Hyderabad needed this. Shakib fires this one on middle. Parthiv once again goes for the sweep but this time he misses to get hit on the pads. The players appeal and the umpire after giving it a thought raises his finger. So a good little innings by Parthiv comes to an end. he has provided Bangalore with a start here. RCB 24/1 in 2.5 overs

22.10 IST: FOUR! Another one and down the ground. It is never a good idea to get a left-arm spinner against a left handed batsman and Parthiv is showing exactly why. Shakib tosses it up again on middle, Parthiv goes over mid on this time for a boundary. Consecutive ones. RCB 24/0 in 2.4 overs

22.09 IST: FOUR! Smashed to square leg. Over the covers and towards the fence. RCB 20/0 in 2.3 overs

22.06 IST: FOUR! Down the track and Parthiv had his eyes there as it beats the fielder who dives but misses and races to the fence. RCB 13/0 in 1.4 overs

22.04 IST: FOUR! The first boundary is struck by Parthiv. Wrong line to start off with by Kumar. On the pads. It is bread and butter stuff for Parthiv there as he flicks it through square leg and the ball races away. RCB 9/0 in 1.1 overs

22.00 IST: In the air... but safe! A good shot but not off the middle. Fuller on off, Vohra lofts it over mid on. The connection was not sweet but enough to collect a brace. RCB 2/0 in 0.4 overs

21.59 IST: The RCB batsman are out as Parthiv Patel and Manan Vohra start the chase. The total is not that big but Hyderabad do have a very good bowling attack. They make their way out to the middle. Sandeep Sharma will bowl the first over. Let's get started.

21.52 IST:

21.45 IST: Sunrisers Hyderabad all out for 146 against Royal Challengers Bangalore in Hyderabad. Williamson 56, Siraj 3/25. Sandeep Sharma OUT! The on-field call will be overturned! Good review from Southee! Sandeep Sharma tries to play the reverse paddle but wears it on the pads. The ball rolls towards the leg side and they cross for a leg bye. Southee appeals but it's turned down by the umpire. They take the DRS and Ball Tracker shows the impact is in line and it would have hit the stumps. HYDERABAD BOWLED OUT FOR 146!

21.40 IST: Siddarth Kaul is the new man in.

21.39 IST: Rashid Khan run out for 1. Another run out and it's Kohli again. Don't you dare to take on his arm. Kumar swipes across the line and the ball goes towards deep mid-wicket. They look for another but Kumar sends him back. Virat returns a good flat throw to Patel who takes the bails off. Replays show Kaul is well short. Sunrisers Hyderabad 144/8 in 19.2 overs vs Royal Challengers Bangalore in Hyderabad.

21.38 IST: Bhuvneshwar Kumar is the new man in.

21.37 IST: OUT! Siraj removes Saha for 8. Run out! Back of a length delivery, Rashid Khan gets it off the high portion of the bat. The ball lands safely in the mid-wicket region and they try to come back for another. Kohli charges in, collects it on the bounce and fires an accurate throw to Patel who takes the bails off. Khan wasn't even in the frame. Sunrisers Hyderabad 143/7 in 19 overs vs Royal Challengers Bangalore in Hyderabad.

21.34 IST: Rashid Khan is in next.

21.33 IST: OUT! Siraj removes Yusuf Pathan for 12. The leg pole goes cartwheeling! Siraj leaps in the air and then punches it in joy. Dream delivery if you are a bowler. He drops it around middle and off and it nips back in with some pace on it. Pathan has a swing across the line but is done in for the pace and sees his leg stump going for a walk. Sunrisers Hyderabad 134/6 in 18.1 overs vs Royal Challengers Bangalore in Hyderabad.

21.31 IST: FOUR! Top edge and it's gone even finer! That will do for Hyderabad. Once again Southee doles out a cutter, it's the shorter one around leg. Pathan looks to pull but gets it off the top edge over the keeper for successive boundaries.

21.29 IST: FOUR! Too predictable and Pathan does the right thing. Gets across a touch to this slower short ball and helps it over short fine leg for a boundary.

21.28 IST: OUT! Southee removes Shakib for 35. Straight to square leg! Another timely wicket for Bangalore as they remove another set batsman. Southee takes the pace off, delivers it around middle and leg. Shakib stays put inside the crease and has a swing across the line. It goes straight into the hands of Umesh Yadav at square leg who takes it easily. Sunrisers Hyderabad 124/5 in 17.2 overs vs Royal Challengers Bangalore in Hyderabad.

21.24 IST: FOUR! Risky shot but it pays off. Shakib Al Hasan shuffles way across to his delivery on middle and scoops it wide of the man at short fine leg for the second boundary of the over.

21.22 IST: FOUR! Off the middle this time! Shakib needs to keep going now. Swivels across to this length delivery and hits it powerfully past the man at square who is inside the circle for a boundary.

21.19 IST: Yusuf Pathan is in next. Also, Mohammed Siraj comes back into the attack.

21.18 IST: OUT! Umesh Yadav removes Williamson for 56. Umesh Yadav picks up a wicket and equals Hardik Pandya in the list of the leading wicket-takers this season. It's a huge wicket of Williamson. Slower delivery on the stumps, Kane gets across to play the paddle scoop but all he manages is a thick top edge. The ball goes high in the air and Mandeep Singh at deep backward square leg settles nicely under it. Oh wait. They check for the front foot no ball. It was a really close call but the TV umpire feels Umesh has enough heel behind the line. The Hyderabad skipper walks back after a good knock but this wicket will hamper their chances to get to a respectable total. Sunrisers Hyderabad 112/4 in 16 overs vs Royal Challengers Bangalore in Hyderabad.

21.16 IST: FOUR! Reads the slower one and hits it well. He waits back and lofts it over extra cover for a boundary all the way. He's changing the gears now.

21.10 IST: FIFTY! Kane Williamson hits his 8th IPL half-century. That's the 5th fifty of the season for Williamson, he's in some form! On a wicket where others have struggled he has shown the way. Pushes this slower leg spinner through cover and gets to the other end. Can he bat through? Sunrisers Hyderabad 102/3 in 14.3 overs vs Royal Challengers Bangalore in Hyderabad.

21.09 IST: SIX! Slogged away in style! Williamson is playing another blinder here! Chahal tosses one a bit wider outside off, Kane sits down, fetches it from there and slog sweeps it cleanly over mid-wicket for his second maximum in as many balls. Moves to 49 with that.

21.07 IST: SIX! Captain is on rescue! Freebie and Williamson dumps one away! Full toss on the leg stump, Kane whips it over fine leg to send it over the fence for half a dozen. Moves into the 40s with that. A good over for Hyderabad as 14 came off it. SRH 94/3 in 14 overs.

21.05 IST: FOUR! Too straight and gets the treatment! Yadav strangles one around the pads, Williamson shuffles a touch and whips it fine down the leg side for a boundary. SRH 85/3 in 13.4 overs.

20.54 IST: FOUR! Flayed away! Short and wide outside off, a loosener to begin with for de Grandhomme. Shakib slaps it behind point and it blazes away to the fence. SRH 72/3 in 11.1 overs.

20.52 IST: Yuzvendra Chahal to Kane Williamson, no run. Safe! Nicely slows it through the air, dips it around off and makes it to turn away from the batsman. Williamson comes forward to drive it away but it beaten by the away turn. The ball goes past the outside edge and in the process he loses his balance and his back leg comes out. Parthiv Patel behind the stumps takes the bails off and appeals. It's taken upstairs and replays show the hosts' skipper manages to come back in time.

20.50 IST: FOUR! Good shot! Yuzi pushes it a bit quicker through the air, a bit short in length on middle, Kane sits down on one knee and pulls it through square leg for a boundary.

20.46 IST: FOUR! Shakib tries to build SRH. Now uses his feet, expecting the bowler to toss it up. He gets to the pitch of it and lofts it over the bowler's head for back-to-back boundaries.

20.45 IST: FOUR! Excellent but a very risky shot there. He had to connect or he was a goner. Ali fires this on off, Shakib uses the depth of the crease and cuts it very fine past the diving point fielder for a boundary. SRH 55/3 in 9.2 overs.

20.40 IST: Shakib Al Hasan is the next man in.

20.39 IST: OUT! Chahal removes Manish Pandey for 5. Excellent captaincy but a very soft dismissal. Virat Kohli had placed himself at short covers for Pandey and he gives him a dolly of a catch. Chahal tosses it up on middle, it turns and also sticks in the wicket a touch. Pandey is early into his drive and he hits it uppishly towards Kohli who takes an easy catch. Pandey's poor tournament continues as his wicket deepens Hyderabad's hole here. Sunrisers Hyderabad 48/3 in 8.2 overs vs Royal Challengers Bangalore in Hyderabad.

20.34 IST: SRH 42/2 in 7 overs. Yuzvendra Chahal to Kane Williamson, 1 run. On off, Williamson whips it through mid on for a run.

20.29 IST: Manish Pandey is the next man in.

20.28 IST: OUT! Siraj removes Dhawan for 13. Something had to give and Shikhar departs in the attempt to find the fence. All those dots have brought about Dhawan's downfall. Siraj bowled it very full on the last ball and this time he bangs it short on middle. Dhawan takes on the challenge of pulling it but gets a top edge which goes to the only man out on the leg side. Tim Southee at deep square leg, runs to his right and takes a good catch. Second wicket in the Powerplay for Bangalore as they have sent both the openers back in the hut. Hyderabad in a spot of bother here. Sunrisers Hyderabad 38/2 in 5.5 overs vs Royal Challengers Bangalore in Hyderabad.

20.23 IST: FOUR! Southee offers a hit me ball. Slower ball and on the fuller side. Williamson leans into it and drives it through covers for a boundary. They needed that Hyderabad.

20.19 IST: Umesh Yadav to Kane Williamson, A single to end! So a good second over by Yadav. just 5 from it. Williamson nudges it towards mid-wicket and gets to the other end. SRH 26/1 in 4 overs.

20.15 IST: FOUR! A gift to receive first up and Williamson says thank you so much. A half-volley down the leg side. Kane helps it on its way and it races down to the fine leg fence.

20.13 IST: Kane Williamson walks out to the middle.

20.12 IST: OUT! Southee removes Hales for 5. BOWLED 'EM! Southee draws first blood! The cross seamer on middle, Hales tries to work it across the line leaving a gap between the bat and pad. It sneaks through it and uproots the middle pole. An early wicket for Bangalore and it is the big one of the dangerous Hales. Sunrisers Hyderabad 15/1 in 2.3 overs vs Royal Challengers Bangalore in Hyderabad.

20.08 IST: FOUR! Hales opts for a boundary to finish the over. The extra ball has cost Umesh Yadav. Also it was a bad extra ball. Full and on off, it was once again the slower one. Hales picks it early and lofts it over mid off for the second boundary of the over. An expensive first over by Umesh. SRH 14/0 after 2 overs.

20.07 IST: FOUR! Dhawan finally in mood. Short and it was the slower one. Dhawan picked it early and pulled it through mid-wicket for the first boundary of the game. SRH 9/0 in 1.4 overs.

20.03 IST: SRH 4/0 in 1 overs. Moeen Ali to Shikhar Dhawan, 1 run. On the shorter side, Ali pulls it through square leg to end the over with a run. A tight one first up, just four from it.

20.00 IST: We are all set for the action to begin. The Bangalore players make their way out to the middle. Shikhar Dhawan and Alex Hales are the openers for Hyderabad. They will look to make full use of the Powerplay. It will be Moeen Ali, the debutant, to open the bowling.

19.53 IST: Kane Williamson feels the wicket stays the same throughout the 40 overs and isn't disappointed to have a go with the bat. Adds they have done well to adapt to different surfaces and tonight would be looking to do the same. They are playing the same team, he informs.

19.45 IST: Virat Kohli says they are looking to chase tonight. States it's all about restricting the opposition and teams have done well here while batting second. On the surface, he opines it looks a good one to bat on. Adds that their bowlers have been good and they need to support them on the field. Is confident about their batting as he says their average score has been around 170-180 this season. Courtesy their splendid bowling attack, SRH emerged as good defenders initially but by defeating Delhi Daredevils with a seven-wicket margin on Saturday, they proved that they can pull off tight chases as well. The hosts have already taken long strides towards a play-offs spot but still, there are issues that must be bothering them ahead of the business end of the tournament. Opener Shikhar Dhawan's low strike rate must be a concern for them along with a shaky middle-order. READ FULL PREVIEW HERE
