Hyderabad: YSR Congress leader Jagan Mohan Reddy's disproportionate assets case began with a petition filed by former state minister P Shankar Rao, who had alleged that Jagan had amassed wealth to the tune of Rs.43,000
August 2013: Reddy started a hunger strike in Chanchalguda Jail opposing the United Progressive Alliance's decision to endorse the creation of a separate Telangana state. After 125 hours of indefinite hunger strike, his sugar levels and BP were down and he was forced to end it.
