Modi government gave way for Foreign Direct Investment in Insurance, defense and other sectors, which were earlier restricted. From April 2013 to Feb 2014 FDI equity inflows stood at 20, 766 millions whereas from April 2014 to Feb 2015, the figure rose to 28,813 millions, registering a jump of 39%.

The coming days may see India opening up to International competition and deregulations.

NDA government's friendly approach towards the business society has restored the investor's faith and changed global organizations' outlook towards Indian economy.

Global rating agency Moody's predicted that India will overtake China as the fastest growing emerging economy in 2015-16 by clocking a growth rate of 7.5 per cent.
