New Delhi: The Prime MInister Dr Manmohan Singh today came down heavily on Jayalalithaa government's decision to release the killers of former PM Rahul Gandhi.
Using the official twitter handle of Prime Minister Office, Dr Singh tweeted that the assassination of Shri Rajiv Gandhi was an attack on the soul of India.
“Release of the killers of a former PM of India, our great leader, and other innocent Indians, would be contrary to all principles of justice,” added Dr Singh.
The Prime Minister also said that The govt is moving a review petition in the SC on fundamental issues of law arising from the assassination of the late Shri Rajiv Gandhi.
“No government or party should be soft in our fight against terrorism,” The PM added.
