New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi today condoled the death of former Odisha Chief Minister JB Patnaik, saying his contribution to the state's development will always be remembered.
“Saddened on his demise. Condolences to his family. Shri Patnaik will be remembered as a pillar of Odisha politics, a popular leader always connected with people's views and aspirations,” the Prime Minister said. “JB Patnaik's contribution to Odisha's development will always be remembered,” he said.
The former Odisha Chief Minister and ex-Assam Governor died in Tirupati early today.
